Love Always

For now

Consider holding off on public announcements

You may want to wait a day or two before posting to social media or publishing an obituary. It gives close family and friends time to hear from you directly. It also slows down how quickly their home address becomes public, which matters if the home is now empty. When you're ready, the funeral home usually helps with obituary submissions.

Good to know

Expect the shift: Once an obituary is public, expect an uptick in mail, calls, and sometimes scam attempts. Post it when you're ready, and prepare for the volume that follows.
